Standard forms
Minimal three-piece surround
Two jambs and a lintel in massive section, joints expressed as fine shadow lines. The most severe thing in the room, in the best way.
Cantilevered hearth shelf
A single thick shelf set into the chimney breast over a plastered or stone-clad opening — the mantel reduced to its essential gesture.
Hand-carved classical surround
A carved surround with bolection or cavetto profile, cut by hand in the traditional sequence. Choose a documented profile or bring a drawing.
Dimensions are standard ranges; every piece is confirmed against your drawings before fabrication. Pricing is quoted per commission — material, finish, and freight stated separately.
